Meet Our Campus Calm® Leadership Team
Message From Maria Pascucci,
Founder & President:
I have had the privilege of working with some of our nation's most promising rising women leaders. These young professionals reached out to Campus Calm on their own initiative, asking to be part of our team. They have wowed us with their commitment to envisioning and helping to create an inclusive space for their peers to lead with a spirit of collaboration, authenticity and resilience. These young women have mentored me as much as I have mentored them. It is my honor to introduce them to you!

Lead Her Interns
Allison Fiete is currently a senior at Ithaca College, where she is majoring in Writing with a minor in Psychology. She has always loved creative writing but hopes to pursue a career in clinical psychology. She loves hearing people tell their own life stories whenever possible and has learned a great deal about patience from her tight-knit family. She has a passion for helping people; this passion led her to become involved in Active Minds and To Write Love on Her Arms: two great organizations that deal with mental health in different ways. Allie also loves the color yellow, going for long walks at night, baking, and sitting out on the porch during thunderstorms. But her favorite thing might be playing with her three dogs: a miniature dachshund, a welsh corgi and an oversized collie. Allie enjoys traveling, and after spending a semester abroad in London would love to live there again someday. She also has a distant dream to someday open up a cupcakery in her hometown, so anything could happen! Check out Allie's blog column here.
Lauren Mateer is a journalism major entering her junior year at Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. Lauren writes for several on-campus publications: The Ithacan newspaper, Buzzsaw alternative magazine, and 360 Magazine. She is also involved in volunteer projects at the local elementary school and library. During her spring semester sophomore year, Lauren studied abroad in London, where she interned with Peace News, a magazine focusing on peace issues; this piqued her interest both in travel and in social activist writing. Other things she loves include music, history, reading and writing fiction, and her cats. Check out Lauren's blog column here.
Lily Welborn is a sophomore at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and is majoring in International Studies, with a discipline in Political Science and a focus on Latin America. Her freshman year, she suddenly began to understand the true cost of sacrificing her general well-being for attaining perfection in both academic and social realms of her life. Now, she is even more passionate about helping other young women to be confident in themselves! She is actively involved in Amnesty International SU Chapter, and works to motivate young people to be politically active. She plans on spending her life traveling and working for non-profit organizations, and hopes to someday help victims of political and corporate violence to empower themselves in their fight for justice. Lily plays volleyball, loves to surf, is passionate about education, and loves doing anything adventurous and outside that requires a little bit of faith. Check out Lily's blog column here.
Meg Rindfleisch is a senior journalism major at Ithaca College, located in Ithaca, New York. After spending a semester abroad in London, she's excited to start her senior year on campus. Meg is a producer for ICTV's Newswatch 16 and founder of To Write Love On Her Arms-Ithaca College, a university chapter of the national non-profit organization dedicated to finding help and presenting hope for those struggling with suicide, depression, addiction, and self-injury. After graduation, she hopes to attend graduate school for documentary production or media management. Meg is a lover of reading, old movies, dogs, traveling, good conversation, coloring and rock music. :) Check out Meg’s riveting mini-documentary called PERFECT by clicking here. Tori Rehr is a sophomore at Juniata College studying Psychology and Spanish Language and Culture. Tori is very active on campus, working at the Juniata College Writing Center, the Office of Student Activities, and as a research assistant in the Psychology department. She has always been passionate about women’s issues, and currently serves as the President of the Juniata AAUW branch, treasurer of Campus Girl Scouts, and attended NCCWSL (National Conference for College Women Student Leaders) last summer, where she met Maria and learned the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Her plans for the future involve studying abroad in Ecuador next year, attending graduate school for psychology, and facing life’s challenges with balance and persistence. In her free time, Tori enjoys playing the flute, enjoying time with her friends, reading, and above all, the opportunity to travel! Check out Tori's blog column here.
Born and raised in Utah, Wendalyn Tran is now a sophomore at Claremont McKenna College in southern California with a major in economics and international relations. She is involved with many organizations at her college such as being the vice president of the Women’s Forum, a member of the Women in Leadership Alliance, and a representative of the Diversity Committee. She is extremely passionate about education and women’s issues. In August 2011, she organized a Women in Leadership Conference at the University of Utah to connect young, aspiring women with very successful women and now hopes to use this event as a starting point for a mentoring program. She ultimately plans on establishing her own nonprofit organization one day that focuses on empowering women worldwide and providing quality education to all. Some of Wendy’s favorite activities are playing tennis, reading, writing, taking long walks, and baking chocolate chip cookies. Check out Wendy's blog column here.
