The Power of 10 Love Notes

Last month, I mentioned I’ll be focusing on the Power of 10 this year. In keeping with that theme, please get a piece of paper and a pen. Write down the names of 10 people you want to thank. Perhaps it’s a co-worker who helped you with a project, a friend who helped you move into your new place, your parents for supporting you over the years, or your boss who let you leave the office early last week.

Do you remember the last time you received a love note? You know, one of those special hand-written notes that made your heart smile when you read it. I’ll bet it was so special you decided you would keep it forever.

That’s the kind of love note I want you to send to 10 people. Go buy some nice note cards and start writing from the heart. Let those 10 special people on your list know how much you appreciate them. You’ll feel great when you drop the notes in the mail or put the love note on their desk at work, and I promise you their heart will smile when they read your kind words.
