Resiliency Expert’s Tip of the Month – October

One of the most common outcomes of our busy lives is that we feel extreme time pressure to do all that we need to do –  and then stay up late to get things done. Unfortunately, losing valuable sleep wreaks havoc on our bodies and minds and ironically makes us far less effective in the long run. Check out these excellent videos on what recent science has to reveal about the critical value of sleep for our everyday health, resiliency, and functioning: You will be able to do far more in a shorter amount of time if you are in your peak mental/physical condition – and sleep is vital to achieving this healthy balance. This semester as you plan out your calendar, consider carving out priority time for rest, rejuvenation, and deep sleep.
