“What the heck is that?!!” Contest Starts Tomorrow – Win FREE CAMPUS CALM UNIVERSITY Books!

OK, so my new book, CAMPUS CALM UNIVERSITY, is all about learning to have fun in life, explore and not take yourself so seriously! I motivate you to ditch your inner perfectionist and celebrate your strengths and even embrace your weaknesses.

Soooo, you guys know that my strengths stem from the pen. I’m proud to say that I’m a great writer who loved writing every word in my book. But, I absolutely stink at drawing. S-T-I-N-K.

My brothers, cousins and I have a standing Pictionary feud that dates back decades (ok, maybe a decade, I’m not that old!). Anyway, it’s guys versus girls every holiday and I’m always the weakest link on the team. I’m the joke of the table. People mill around me when I draw just to point, laugh, and say “What the heck is that?!!” (Especially you, Dad!). So, luckily I learned how to laugh at myself at an early age.

In honor of my drawing deficits, I’m debuting a week-long contest starting tomorrow, called, “What the heck is that?!!”

I went to my old-faithful Pictionary game, pulled out random cards and drew away. Each day for one week, starting tomorrow, Thursday, October 23, 2008, I will be announcing the Pictionary category and posting one horrendous drawing up on this blog and on Facebook for the world to see. The first 10 people who e-mail maria@campuscalm.com, and by some miracle, manage to answer correctly will be entered into a daily drawing to win a FREE copy of my book CAMPUS CALM UNIVERSITY, valued at $19.95. NOTE: Do not guess on my public Facebook WALL because then everyone who guesses after you will have an advantage that you did not.

Losers are still winners in the game of “What the heck is that?!!” Every person who’s brave enough to play by emailing your guess to maria@campuscalm.com will get a $5 coupon good toward the purchase of my book, which is available here: http://www.campuscalm.com/book.

Game? ;-)

Check back tomorrow morning for your first “What the heck is that?!!” challenge.
