Youth Entrepreneurship’s Tip of the Month – March

Believe. Achieve. Succeed.

By: Brandon L. Griffin

I’d like to share with you an excerpt from the article, “Believe in Yourself and You Will Succeed,” written by Barb Thornback:

“Whatever you want to succeed in, make no doubt about it you will succeed if you believe in yourself. It is simple. If you do not believe in yourself you will fail. You will fail at the first hurdle. Winning is not about having the best product or the most inventive ideas. Sure, these things are important, but it’s not everything. Success is about creating the right mindset! This is extremely important. Without it, you will have a difficult time finding success. You can have the best tools and strategies at your disposal, but if you don’t believe in yourself, those tools and strategies will not do you much good. If you want to succeed, believe in yourself, pull out all the stops and use all that you have. Your mind is the greatest asset you possess.”

Let’s Break it Down!

Succeed = Success
Everyone has their own meaning of success. For me, success is an accumulation of many of my achievements.

Achieve = Achievements
Dream, set goals, and work toward them. Once you have accomplished it, take it off of your “To Do List” and place it on your “Record of Achievements”.

Believe = Achieve + Succeed
In order for you to accomplish your goals to make the achievement that will contribute to your success, Barb Thornback said it best: “You have to believe in yourself or you will fail at your first hurdle.”

You Can. You Will. You Are.
