Youth Entrepreneurship Expert’s Tip of the Month – December

One unique characteristic of being an entrepreneur is being creative. The Holiday season is a great time for you to show off your creativity and at the same time capitalize on revenue that could be made for your business.

Instead of buying gifts this holiday season consider the following:

1. Give discount coupons or gift certificates for your product or service to family and friends.

2. If you don’t have a business you can still be creative. For example, if your parent does all of the chores around the house create “I’ll Do It Cards.” “I’ll Do It Cards” allows you to give your parent a break from all of his or her hard work. A little bit more effort on your part, but a lot less cash out of your pocket … and they’ll appreciate it just as much!
