About Maria Pascucci, Founder of Campus Calm™
Maria is a former frazzled college perfectionist turned award-winning author, speaker, leader and change-maker before her 30th birthday. She is fast becoming the "calm" voice for a new generation of high achieving college women leaders and young female professionals around the world. Her book Campus Calm University won a gold medal in the International Independent Publisher Book Awards, and has been called, "groundbreaking, refreshing and as calming as a cup of peppermint tea, or an extension on that term paper due tomorrow morning." She is the creator of the brand new Campus LeadHer™ Success Kit, a personal leadership development product for female college students that was released on January 5, 2012.
Recognized as a leading spokesperson on perfectionism as a barrier to women's leadership, Maria speaks from the power of personal experience to college audiences on universities across the nation. Her media appearances include The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Huffington Post, Feministing, All You Magazine, The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, New York's Women's Business Examiner, and dozens of media outlets around the world.
A former college perfectionist and self-proclaimed stressaholic, Maria is a trailblazing young woman entrepreneur on a mission: to spread a dose of "campus calm" to women leaders world-wide.
Maria lives in Buffalo, New York with her husband Shaun Maciejewski—her high school sweetheart and best friend, along with their ten indoor plants, many of which she forgets to water on a regular basis as she's busy changing the world.

Quote Maria:
Perfectionism is nothing more than a socially acceptable, even glorified, form of self-abuse that holds women back from growing into the leaders that our world needs us to be.
I used to spend hours trying to find the perfect words to prove to the world that I was talented. Today I look for the honest words—the words that will reach rising women leaders and let them know they’re not alone when they dream crazy dreams.
