About Maria Pascucci, Founder of Campus Calm®
Maria is a former frazzled college perfectionist turned certified professional coach, transformational nutrition educator, award-winning author, speaker, leader and change-maker. She is fast becoming the "calm" voice for a new generation of high achieving college women leaders, college students and young professionals from around the world. Her book Campus Calm University won a gold medal in the 13th Annual International Independent Publisher Book Awards, and has been called, "groundbreaking, refreshing and as calming as a cup of peppermint tea, or an extension on that term paper due tomorrow morning." She is the creator of the new Campus Lead Her Success Kit, a personal leadership development product for female college students.
Recognized as a leading spokesperson on perfectionism as a barrier to women's leadership and college student leadership, Maria speaks from the power of personal experience to college audiences on universities across the nation. She had the honor of keynoting Purdue University's 12th Annual Women in Leadership Conference, South Dakota State University's Women's Leadership Summit, the University of California, Merced's 2nd Annual Women's Empowerment Conference, the University of Virginia's "Love Every Body Week", Mount St. Mary's Women's Leadership Conference, Chadron State College's Women's Leadership Week and ConfidenceUNG. She is also a three-time speaker at the annual National Conference for College Women Student Leaders. Her TEDx talk has been called an "honest look at the dangers of perfectionism and the pursuit of it." Her media appearances include USA TODAY College, The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Huffington Post, Feministing, All You Magazine, The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty, New York's Women's Business Examiner, and dozens of media outlets around the world.
A first-generation college graduate, former college perfectionist and self-proclaimed recovering stressaholic, Maria is a trailblazing young woman entrepreneur on a mission: to spread a dose of "campus calm" to emerging leaders world-wide.
Maria lives in Bonita Springs, Florida with her husband Shaun Maciejewski—her high school sweetheart and best friend, along with their ten indoor plants, many of which she forgets to water on a regular basis as she's busy changing the world.

Perfectionism is a glorified form of self-abuse that holds women back from growing into the confident, resilient leaders that our world wants now. We take back our power when we lead by example to share our voices and help each other see that we are not alone.
